Banner advertising Plans
Each banner advertising campaign will allow for one banner to be run in a side block on our site in rotation with other paid advertisers. You will be allowed to run your campaign for as long as it takes to accumulate the amount of impressions you have paid for. If you do not use your allotted impressions in a month, it will simply roll over to the next month. We allow a variety of banner sizes to be displayed.

Banners must be in either Flash, GIF, JPG, or PNG format, and cannot exceed 25k total file size. If you would be interested in purchasing larger amounts of impressions, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

How does banner advertising work?
We display your banner ad on our sites where it can be seen by our site's visitors. If someone is interested in your product or service, they click on the banner and are transferred automatically to your site where you can tell them more, and hopefully, get them to make a purchase or commitment.

How much does it Cost?
You can purchase a package based on the number of time your Advertisement is displayed or alternatively on the length of time your Advertisement is shown.

What is CPM?
CPM refers to "cost per thousand" and is used by the advertising industry to describe how many people have viewed your banner advertisement, or received an "impression" by seeing the ad.

What is CTR?
CTR stands for "click through rate" is shown as a percentage of the number of time a visitor click on your banner ads to be taken to your website. It is determined by dividing the number of times your banner is displayed "impressions" by the number of time it has been clicked on as a percentage.

Both impressions & CTR's are kept track off and available in your administration area.

Scrolling Banner Ads

Scrolling banner Ads as shown below are implemented across all most of our website's.

Advertisers will be limited to no more than 5 active at any one time to allow for maximum exposure. Banner will appear on all main pages excluding Results Pages & Detailed view of Properties.

As it is CPU intensive to track our scrolling banners as shown at the top of this page, these are only offered at a daily rate and will appear on all our pages of the website you have selected them to appear on.

Image show will be 80 x 20 pixels wide with a maximum of 30 characters of text, and continuously scroll across the page, until a customer moves mouse over it or clicks on link.

To start a banner ad campaign on Solcom Services, choose one of the plans from the tables above, or contact us for a custom quote. After we receive your payment, we will contact you with instructions on how to upload your banner.

To renew your campaign
If your campaign has used all of its available impressions, you can simply reinstate it by subscribing to a new campaign. You can use your existing banner if you like and we can simply reset the counter for you. If you have selected our 'Unlimited' campaign, you will be billed every thirty days for the amount specified in the chosen plan.

Cancellations
You are free to cancel you banner campaign at any time, though we do not offer refunds on full or unused impression counts.

Solcom Services will not publish any material that is illegal, pornographic, adult, or material which endorses these activities. All banners must be approved by a site administrator before being submitted into rotation. We reserve the right to decline any banner (at our discretion) at the time of submission and refund the campaign cost to the customer.

The banner account holder agrees to hold Solcom Services free of any fault from all claims for loss, liability, or damages (whether they be monetary or intellectual) caused by their campaign. This includes but is not limited to, court costs and attorney fees. The banner account holder also agrees that their banner is not in violation of any copyright laws, or other laws protecting third party investments such as trademarks and invasion of privacy laws.

We reserve the right to change these policies at any time. If we do change policies, current campaign owners will be notified in writing via email. We also reserve the right to revoke you account and remove you banner and/or account and information at any time at our discretion.

Due to the nature of the Internet and information technologies in general, we will not guarantee the dependability or accuracy of the banner campaign statistics, though we will make every effort to verify their integrity.
